What Is Hydraulic Bursting?

Floor Sawing

Hydraulic bursting is a method used to remove mass concrete, reinforced concrete, granite, brick and stone structures. Many businesses and civil contractors prefer this method since it is relatively safer and more efficient than other concrete removal techniques.

Strategically-placed holes that are about 112mm in diameter are drilled into the surface where hydraulic burster heads are then put into place. These holes will be expanded to induce controlled cracking, reducing the surface into easily removable sections.

Hydraulic bursters can be used safely even in small, cramped spaces. Electric and petrol powered bursters are guaranteed dust-free and emits low noise without any percussion. Our state-of-the-art hydraulic bursters have a bursting power ration of 1000 tons, making it easy for us to break through thick slabs of different materials such as reinforced concrete.
